New details emerged on Sunday regarding the arrest at Ettelbruck train station the previous day. Authorities confirmed that the man detained during the incident was carrying two small gas canisters, which led to the temporary closure of the station and a halt in train services between Mersch and Kautenbach.

Following an investigation, police announced that the gas canisters were not a threat, although initial reports suggested they could have contained helium. The canisters were seized by authorities.
