A police intervention at Ettelbruck station on Saturday afternoon caused a temporary suspension of train services between Mersch and Kautenbach, CFL reported.
Rail traffic on line 10 between Mersch and Kautenbach was temporarily disrupted on Saturday afternoon, according to the Luxembourg National Railway Company (CFL).
The disruption was linked to a police intervention at Ettelbruck station.
A police spokesperson explained that a patrol stopped an individual on the station platform who was carrying two small gas cylinders. Officers were investigating whether the cylinders contained helium, as reported by L'Essentiel.
To reduce inconvenience for passengers, CFL arranged a replacement bus service between Mersch and Kautenbach.
At around 4pm, CFL indicated that the incident had been resolved and that train traffic would resume normally during the afternoon.
