Tensions escalated during a recent trade union meeting as divisions emerged over the Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation's (OGBL) advice to employees regarding a new contract with HUT - Hëllef um Terrain.
The atmosphere was tense during the recent meeting due to a division within the trade union regarding how employees should approach the HUT - Hëllef um Terrain board.
On one side, the Independent Luxembourg Trade Union Confederation (OGBL) advised employees to refuse signing a new contract with HUT, citing concerns over solidarity and uncertainties. Conversely, the need for job security created a conflicting stance among members. This rivalry contributed to the heated discussions.
As a result, the OGBL has organised a protest in front of the Caritas headquarters on Friday at 12 pm.
