Belval University's P+R car park is set to partially reopen on 2 September, with 147 parking spaces becoming available after extensive fire damage repairs.

Starting Monday, 2 September, a portion of the first floor of Belval University's P+R car park, which was damaged by a fire in February, will be accessible to motorists once again.

After extensive repairs, safety checks, and thorough cleaning, the unaffected section of the first floor will reopen to the public, providing 147 parking spots. However, part of the first floor remains closed. The full reopening of the areas affected by the fire will depend on the completion of ongoing renovation work.

The situation is being closely monitored, with action plans being developed in collaboration with consultancy firms and technical experts.

Motorists will continue to use the main entrance to access the car park and the first floor. However, when leaving the newly reopened section, they will need to exit via the second floor of the P+R.

To assist with the transition, signs have been put up, and personnel from the Luxembourg National Railway Company (CFL) will be on-site to guide motorists during an initial phase.
