Meteolux has issued a yellow alert for southern Luxembourg as temperatures are set to soar today – but the evening could end with rain.

Southern Luxembourg is under a heat warning as temperatures are likely to exceed 31°C between 3–6pm. The sun will largely dominate throughout the day, with scattered clouds, but could be replaced by rain and localised storms as we go into the evening.

Temperatures will start off at 15–17°C in the morning, rising to highs of 28°C in northern regions, or 31°C in the south. In the evening, they'll drop slightly to 23–25°C.
