Weather agency Meteolux has issued a yellow weather warning for southern Luxembourg on Thursday afternoon, warning of temperatures above 31°C between 3-6pm.
The north of the country is slightly cooler, with temperatures expected to stay around the 26-28°C mark.
Come evening, there is also a chance of rainfall.
The morning will start off with blue skies and some clouds, with temperatures of 15-17°C, rising to 31°C in the afternoon and settling at 21°C in northern Luxembourg in the evening and 24°C in the south.
