The Luxembourg police have reported two break-ins that occurred on Tuesday night. One incident took place at a restaurant in Aire de Capellen, and the other at a single-family house in Val des Bons-Malades.
Initial reports indicate that no items were stolen from the restaurant in Aire de Capellen. In the break-in at Val des Bons-Malades, the burglar stole a mobile phone and a wallet but fled after being confronted by the residents.
In a separate incident that same night, a motorist was involved in a high-speed crash in the Gare neighbourhood of Luxembourg City. The vehicle struck a street sign, and the driver briefly stopped before parking improperly on Rue de Strasbourg. Police officers later stopped and checked the driver, who refused to take a breathalyser test, resulting in a provisional driving ban.
