On Wednesday morning, a collision involving three lorries disrupted traffic on the A7 motorway toward Luxembourg City. The route has since been reopened.

The incident occurred on the Schieren viaduct near Ettelbruck, where the vehicles collided and blocked the roadway. The Luxembourg Motoring Association (ACL) first reported the accident at around 8.30am, advising motorists to avoid the area. Shortly afterward, the ACL recommended that drivers access the motorway via Colmar-Berg, as the stretch on the viaduct in the direction of Luxembourg City was completely blocked due to the collision.

According to preliminary information, one person was taken to hospital for a check-up. Shortly before 10am, one of the lorries was removed by a specialised tow truck, allowing traffic to be diverted along the hard shoulder. By around 10.30am, the scene had been cleared.
