On Monday morning, a car caught fire in the eastern part of Luxembourg for reasons that remain unknown.

The incident led to the complete closure of the N10 between Wasserbillig and Moersdorf. The road was reopened around 10.45am after emergency services worked at the scene for nearly three hours.

Around the same time, a serious accident occurred on the slip road from the A3 to the A13, heading towards Schengen. A car collided with a motorcyclist shortly before 8am. Emergency responders, including the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) from Luxembourg City, an ambulance from Dudelange, and firefighters from Dudelange and Bettembourg, were despatched to the scene.

At approximately 8.50am, another accident involving a car and a motorcycle took place on the Lankelz bypass in Esch-sur-Alzette. An ambulance and the fire brigade from Esch-sur-Alzette were sent to the site.

Later, at 10.55am, a collision between a lorry and a car occurred on Avenue du Bois in Luxembourg City, resulting in one person being injured. An ambulance and fire services from the capital responded to the incident.
