
Police reported two separate shoplifting incidents on Monday afternoon, resulting in the arrest of several individuals.
The first incident took place at a supermarket in Kirchberg, where two individuals stole several bottles of alcohol. According to police, the suspects were apprehended and subsequently arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office.
A second shoplifting case was reported at a supermarket in Foetz. Authorities initially detained one person caught attempting to steal several items of clothing. However, during the course of the investigation, police identified a second individual believed to have acted as an accomplice.
Both suspects in the Foetz incident were arrested on the orders of the public prosecutor’s office. They appeared before an examining magistrate on Tuesday morning.
