An air conditioning unit caught fire in the Amazon rainforest section of the Parc Merveilleux on Thursday afternoon, prompting an emergency evacuation.
The park was fully evacuated within around 10 minutes, according to a press release published by park management.
The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) said around 500 people had been in the park when the fire broke out at 4pm, including visitors and staff.

First responders were able to bring the blaze under control quickly, before fire fighters turned up and fully extinguished the flames. The building was ventilated afterwards.
No people or animals were injured in the fire. The park was able to reopen to the public on Friday morning.
