On a sweltering Tuesday, a mother faced a terrifying ordeal when she accidentally locked her car with her baby inside.
The vehicle, parked in direct sunlight, quickly became dangerously hot. In a panic, the mother contacted the Luxembourg Motoring Association (ACL) for help, as reported on the organisation's LinkedIn account.
ACL technician Mathias Kersten was swiftly despatched to the scene, arriving even before the police and the Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS). Kersten successfully opened the car door without causing any damage, allowing the baby to be safely removed from the vehicle.
The ACL emphasises the importance of never leaving children or pets alone in a car, even for a few minutes, especially in hot weather.
The association also expressed gratitude to all involved for their prompt and professional response.
