Luxembourg City is inviting residents and business owners to shape the future of their 24 districts through an inclusive survey and interactive neighbourhood tours, aiming to enhance community life and development throughout 2024.
The municipality of Luxembourg City has pledged to focus on improving life in the town's 24 districts over the course of 2024. Local officials are therefore looking for valuable input from residents, business owners, interest groups, and associations to come up with a comprehensive development plan aimed at lifting community spirits, among other things.
Through a survey, which locals can fill out online until October this year, the municipality intends to gather information about the real-life needs of people in the capital. Another way of collecting valuable insights is the 'Apéri’tours' initiative, which allows Luxembourg City residents to actively participate in urban development through neighbourhood walking tours with City officials.
The survey is available in English and seeks to collect information on a number of topics, including public meeting places, athletic spaces, as well as cultural and social facilities. Results from this consultation process are expected in early 2025.
