Police managed to catch a thief at a petrol station in Echternach on Wednesday morning.

Officers were called to the station after a person was seen stealing one or more items from the store.

The presumed perpetrator initially managed to flee, but was soon caught by police.

The man was presented to the investigating judge on Wednesday afternoon.
