The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps (CGDIS) reported a series of accidents on Thursday afternoon.

At around 1pm, two cars collided in the Mersch tunnel on the A7 near Schoenfels. No one was injured. Emergency responders included an ambulance from Nordstad and fire brigades from Mersch and Lorentzweiler.

Shortly thereafter, at approximately 1:20pm, a pedestrian was injured after being struck by a car on Avenue Monterey in Luxembourg City.

Around the same time, another individual was injured in a collision between two cars on the CR102 between Mamer and Dippach. Emergency services from Luxembourg City and the fire brigade from Mamer responded to the incident.

Additionally, the police are seeking witnesses for an accident that occurred between Grundhof and Bollendorf-Pont at 11.26am on Thursday.
