A cyclist has been seriously injured after being struck by a lorry in Mertert.
Police were alerted to the accident shortly after 3pm on Saturday. The collision occurred on Rue du Parc, where a lorry and a cyclist were involved.
According to initial reports, the cyclist failed to notice a traffic island, fell, and was thrown into the path of a passing lorry.
The cyclist sustained serious injuries and, after receiving initial treatment at the scene, was taken to hospital.
