After the success of the first season of "Take Off – Science Challenge Show," which concludes on Sunday April 28, the André Losch Fondation and the Luxembourg National Research Fund (FNR) are proud to announce the casting call for the second season of Take Off!

Candidates can submit their applications from this Sunday onwards through Take Off's official website www.takeoffshow.lu.

Take Off – Science Challenge Show is a science game show with 13 episodes available online and on television. 12 bright candidates between the ages of 15 and 21 compete against each other in a series of scientific challenges in teams before moving onto individual challenges with a cash prize of €10.000 for the winner.

Created by the André Losch Fondation and the FNR, Take Off strives to inspire young people and families to embrace the sciences by showcasing role models that everyone can identify with. The show hopes to shine a spotlight on diverse young individuals in Luxembourg and highlight their remarkable talents and potential on a larger platform.

Who can participate?

Candidates can submit their applications starting from Sunday April 14 on the website www.takeoffshow.lu.

Here are the eligibility criteria listed on the site:

  • You must be 15 to 21 years old at the Casting (born between 4.07.2002 and 2.07.2009)
  • You must be registered or have graduated from a school based in Luxembourg.

  • You must understand and be able to speak English.

  • You must be available on the following dates: 8 & 9 June, 2 & 3 July and 22 -30 August.

  • Some shootings will happen on school days (2 and 3rd of July, 7-14 November). If you're still among the candidates by that time, you will be exempted from school.
