According to Sunday's police report, the police had to intervene on several occasions throughout Saturday.

On Saturday morning, the police investigated a home break-in on Route d'Esch in Gasperich. The intruder was caught off guard by the homeowner, who happened to still be at home. Despite having fled the scene, the thief was apprehended by the police. On Sunday morning, the thief was presented in front of the examining magistrate and is currently detained in prison until further notice.

Throughout Saturday afternoon, the police had to handle several instances of drink-driving. One instance unfolded at 3pm in Bonnevoie, as a passenger on a bus harassed the rest of the passengers. After being arrested by the police, the man was able to sober up in police custody.

An hour later, some beer bottles were stolen from a store in Echternach.  The suspect was caught a little later at the bus station. He was taken into police custody to declare his personal details and sober up.

In Bettembourg, the police intervened due to a person who had been drinking and causing disturbances at the local train station. The man did not stop there, as he proceeded to attack a CFL employee, who had approached him regarding his disruptive behaviour. The man left the train station but was apprehended by the police shortly after, and was eventually booked.

In Luxembourg City, a police patrol noticed several people engaged in a heated discussion on Saturday evening in the Gare district. As the police officers approached the group to clarify the situation, one of the people involved threw a beer can at a police vehicle, hitting the passenger door. The police promptly arrested the individual and discovered that the individual was already wanted by authorities. After spending the night in a holding cell, the man was taken to a detention centre the following morning.
