
The meeting, attended by representatives from twenty-eight European Union countries, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada, focused on coordinating support for Ukraine’s defence.
Deliberations encompassed eight key areas, including increasing ammunition shipments, cyber defence, and border protection.
Luxembourg, in collaboration with Belgium and the Netherlands, is taking part in the Czech initiative to procure 155mm calibre ammunition for Ukraine outside the European Union. Minister Backes acknowledged the recent delivery without specifying the cost of the aid.
Alongside Estonia, Luxembourg is also actively engaged in enhancing the communication capabilities and IT infrastructure of the Ukrainian army, contributing to its modernisation efforts.
