The Grand Ducal Fire and Rescue Corps were deployed once more on Friday as a fire broke out at the former swimming pool and restaurant complex in Gantebeensmillen.

Six fire engines were dispatched to the scene, accompanied by an ambulance and several other emergency vehicles. CGDIS reports that no one was injured.

The building, a former leisure complex on Rue Anatole France, was likely abandoned at the time of the fire, according to the CGDIS. No injuries were reported. The fire was said to be extinguished shortly before 5pm, although it was unclear how the blaze began.
