
On Wednesday, emergency services were summoned three times in response to accidents and fires.
Shortly after 7pm, an individual from Junglinster was struck and injured on the Route de Luxembourg. Emergency services from Junglinster promptly responded to the scene.
Another individual was injured in Bettembourg, also on the Route de Luxembourg. Medical emergency aid services from Esch-sur-Alzette and the rescue team from Bettembourg responded to the incident.
Additionally, a church in Frisange, in the Munnereferstrooss, caught fire. Fire brigades from Frisange, Aspelt, Mondorf and Bettembourg were summoned.
Shortly after 6:30pm, Luxembourg City's fire brigade was called upon to extinguish a fire in a chimney.
Emergency services from Esch-sur-Alzette and the fire brigade from Pétange were also summoned to Avenue de la Gare in Pétange after a fire ignited in a flat.
