Temperatures plummeted on Monday morning, leading to snow and sleet showers across the country - and Meteolux predicts further wintry weather mid-week.
Many parts of northern Luxembourg were blanketed in snow on Monday, while around 2cm of snow fell in Kirchberg.
Meteolux issued a yellow weather alert earlier on Monday, warning motorists to exercise caution on the roads.
Although the weather alert was set to end at 4pm, conditions may still be icy throughout the evening, with temperatures expected to rest around 2°C. Further showers could occur overnight, with potential for light snow on Tuesday morning.
Tuesday's temperatures will remain between 1°C and 3°C, dropping to below freezing overnight.
