Several Luxair flights have been cancelled this Sunday at the Luxembourgish airport in Findel.
The first cancellation was an 8 am flight from Luxembourg to Paris Airport Charles de Gaulle. The return flight that was scheduled at 10.30 am was then also cancelled since there was no plane in Paris.
These cancellations were followed by more axed flights, like the Luxair flight at 9.30 am to Budapest, and the LG8243 flight to Nice at 12.55 pm.
During the afternoon, passengers to Hamburg and Madrid were also unable to depart. Same as the passengers wanting to fly to Luxembourg, who were stuck in Madrid.
According to an inside source, these cancellations occurred because of 'technical issues' on planes that Luxair shares with German Airways.
