With tickets already on sale, Luxair will start flying to Manchester in April 2024, enhancing its service offerings for passengers traveling between Luxembourg and the UK.
As the end of the 2023 summer season is still in full swing, Luxair is already thinking about 2024 and offering a brand new destination.
While Luxembourg's flagship airline will carry out two weekly flights to Ljubljana in a few days' time, Luxair has now announced that from April 2024 it will be flying to Manchester in the north of Great Britain three times per week.
On Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, Luxair will invite its passengers to "discover the cosmopolitan and emblematic city of Manchester". Alongside London, a destination already offered by Luxair, "Manchester will further improve connectivity between Luxembourg and the UK," the airline writes in a statement.
These flights are further described as "perfectly suited to business travellers" and catering to passengers looking for "a few days' getaway", less than two hours from the Grand Duchy.
The first flight tickets went on sale on Wednesday.
Flights depart Luxembourg at 10:20, arriving in Manchester at 11:10. The return flights are at 11:50, returning to Luxembourg at 14:45.
