The annual POLINDEX survey, commissioned by the Chamber of Deputies, has been published, revealing a growing concern among the electorate about Luxembourg's economic situation.
The survey, which is based on interviews with 1,058 voters and 500 foreign citizens, shows that for the first time since 2009, interviewees are worried about the country's economy.
The housing situation in Luxembourg tops the list of issues that politicians should address, followed by the country's demographic and economic development, as well as inflation and purchasing power.Climate change, the war in Ukraine, and the political integration of foreigners also remain significant political issues.
The study is the result of a collaboration between the Parliamentary Studies Research Chair and the ILRES polling institute. Its aim is to identify the issues that most concern the electorate and to gauge the level of trust in the current institutions.
