On Saturday afternoon, a police patrol noticed unusual behaviour from a motorist pulling out of a parking space onto the N1 in Grevenmacher. The car was moving extremely slowly, yet still managed to weave into the wrong lane, almost causing a collision with an oncoming vehicle.
Officers pulled the driver over and concluded that they were intoxicated.
At around 8pm on Saturday, officers in Remich spotted a vehicle zigzagging across the road. After several attempts to flag the driver down, police eventually succeeded in pulling the drunk driver over.
The same occurred later on Saturday in Larochette.
