In the 50 Top Pizza Europa 2023 listings, Sartoria Panatieri in Barcelona has been named the Best Pizzeria in Europe for 2023.
In second place was Bæst in Copenhagen, while third place went to 50 Kalò in London.
Luxembourg based eaterie Cloud Factory has snagged a prestigious award, landing well within the top 50 Pizza restaurants in Europe. Luxembourg can legitimately lay claim to having some of the best restaurants in the lands, and any new reward is a welcome one. Thus, Cloud Factory's well-earned placement will have been met with a fair number of approving nods.
Now, while Cloud Factory claim to have the Grand Duchy's 'fluffiest bases'... a statement that has been upheld with numerous mentions, reviews and certificates over the last 18 months - the up and coming venture can also add this ranking to their burgeoning resume.
Cloud Factory opened its doors in Esch-sur-Alzette 2022, having begun their delectable adventures in Neudorf (ca. 2020), and has since gone on to claim plaudits both domestically and abroad, having been awarded Best Luxembourg Pizza in this year's Lux Life Awards... they also nabbed the One to Watch 2023 – Fedegroup Award at the 50 Top Pizza awards.

Oddly, given that there are some 63,000 pizzerias in Italy alone, the small print on the competition website states that no Italian restaurant was included on the list: the exciting evening awards ceremony was presented in Barcelona by Verónica Zumalacárregui, and recognized the best pizzerias in the Old Continent, excluding Italy.
Cloud Factory are setting their sites on the global rankings for next year, where the top 25 from each continent battle for the top spot.
RTL Today will be bringing you an interview with the owners in the next few days.
