At around 5.15pm, two cars collided on the A1 motorway in the direction of Luxembourg City, near the Cents tunnel. One person was injured.
A second traffic accident occurred in Dommeldange at around 2am on Thursday night. A motorist hit a tree on the road to Echternach.
Finally, a rather unusual incident occurred in Filsdorf at a place called “am Eck” between midnight and 1am. According to the emergency services, the fire brigade was sent out after a tree had caught fire. No further details were given about the incident, which left no one injured.
