Dangerous drivingDriver loses licence after ignoring police check on Thursday

RTL Today
A motorist got into trouble with police after ignoring calls to pull over for an alcohol check.

Early on Thursday morning, a police patrol noticed a motorist driving dangerously down the Côte d’Eich and attempted to pull the vehicle over.

However, the driver ignored the lights and sirens and continued their journey until officers caught up with them on Rue de Beggen. They were subsequently found to be visibly intoxicated and initially refused to climb out the vehicle. Eventually, police were permitted to perform a breathalyser test, which confirmed the driver was over the limit. Their licence was confiscated as a result.
