
A third of them were full time CGDIS employees. This comes at a price: 26,000 euros, to be exact, half of which was paid by the marathon organiser. The other half fell to the city, but did not have to be paid due to a “demande de gratuité”.
This request for free coverage is available to all municipalities every year within the taxation regulation. Luxembourg City made use of this for the marathon.
