A two car collision shortly after 6pm on Tuesday blocked both lanes and caused longer traffic jams, the CGDIS reports.

Two people were injured and the first responders from Nordstad, Clervaux, Bissen and Colmar-Schieren were on site.

Driving on the road between Lamadeleine and Rodange, a motorcyclist hit a parked car at high speed. His vehicle was projected into the opposite lane, where it collided with a motorbike travelling in the other direction.

According to police, the motorcyclist's leg was severely injured and the man was taken to hospital. The driver tested positive for alcohol and lost his license on the spot.
