Now new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy at 1,019 so far.
There are 33 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, down five from Tuesday's report, and four patients in intensive care, unchanged from the last update.
There are 15,244 active infections in Luxembourg, while 187,598 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 1.03.

According to today's report, 479,394 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,273,451 doses have been administered in total. 430,084 people have received a second dose. 363,973 people have received an additional booster.
