An accident on the A1 was reported in the direction of Trier in front of the Howald tunnel on Tuesday afternoon. At around 2.30pm, the situation was gradually returning to normal.
On the other hand, the major construction project to widen the A3 motorway between Luxembourg and France, which officially began on Saturday evening, is still generating several kilometres of traffic jams towards the capital.
