The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 653 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 24 hours.
2,535 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, yielding a positive rate of 25.78%.
One new death from Covid-19 was reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 996.
There are 25 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, up one from Thursday's update, with five patients in intensive care, down one.
There are 9,759 active infections in Luxembourg, while 175,605 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 1.
The number of reinfections is 71, or 9.02% of positive cases.
According to today's report, 478,826 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,267,066 doses have been administered in total. 427,874 people have received a second dose. 360,367 people have received an additional booster.
