The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 845 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 24 hours.
3,164 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, yielding a positive rate of 26.77%.
Two new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 995.
There are 24 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, down one from Wednesday's update, with 6 patients in intensive care, unchanged.
There are 9,667 active infections in Luxembourg, while 175,045 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 0.95.
The number of reinfections is 87, or 8.70% of positive cases.
According to today's report, 478,733 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,266,635 doses have been administered in total. 427,636 people have received a second dose. 359,997 people have received an additional booster.
