The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 1,060 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 24 hours.
3,781 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, yielding a positive rate of 28.08%.
One new death from Covid-19 was reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 993.
There are 25 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, up four from Tuesday's update, with 6 patients in intensive care, unchanged from Tuesday.
There are 9,591 active infections in Luxembourg, while 174,278 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 0.91.
The number of reinfections is 115, or 9.01% of positive cases.
According to today's report, 478,662 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,265,844 doses have been administered in total. 427,487 people have received a second dose. 359,695 people have received an additional booster.
