The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 708 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 24 hours.
2,751 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, yielding a positive rate of 25.77%.
No new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 988.
There are 20 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, down 1 from yesterday's update, with 8 patients in intensive care, up 3 from Thursday.
There are 9,537 active infections in Luxembourg, while 171,378 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 1.24.
The number of reinfections is 86 or 10.09% of positive cases.
According to today's report, 478,316 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,263,077 doses have been administered in total. 426,715 people have received a second dose. 358,046 people have received an additional booster.
