Two new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 988.
There are 22 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, down 2 from yesterday's update, with 9 patients in intensive care, unchanged from Tuesday.
There are 10,429 active infections in Luxembourg, while 168,959 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 1.12, up from 0.92.
The number of reinfections is 117 or 9.28% of positive cases.
According to today's report, 478,176 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,261,719 doses have been administered in total. 426,218 people have received a second dose. 357,325 people have received an additional booster.
