The vaccination centre in Kirchberg will close in March. It will be replaced by the 'Hall Victor Hugo' vaccination centre in Limpertsberg.

Reopened several weeks ago to meet the needs of Luxembourg's vaccination campaign, the centre in Kirchberg will close on 5 March 2022.

This closure will be compensated by the reopening of the 'Hall Victor Hugo' vaccination centre located in Limpertsberg. The Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that it will reopen on 8 March, three days after the closure of the site at Luxexpo.

The first dose can be administered with or without an appointment. For the booster, an appointment will be necessary, except for Luxembourg residents and citizens who received a first dose abroad or at a pop-up centre.

For the vaccination of children between 5 and 11 years old, the Ministry of Health specifies that they will be able to come to Hall Victor Hugo without an appointment.

Changes to opening hours

From 28 February onwards (inclusive), the three vaccination centres as well as the pop-ups in the shopping centres and at the central railway station in Luxembourg City will be closed on Mondays.

On 26 February 2022, due to the launch of the European Capital of Culture, Esch2022, the vaccination centre in Esch-sur-Alzette will close at 12 noon instead of 1pm.
