As you probably already know a second storm has also been forecast to hit Luxembourg on Friday evening, with a potential for wind speeds between 90 and 100 km/h accompanied by rain.
Meteolux has issued a nationwide orange weather alert from 4pm to 8pm on Friday afternoon. From 2pm a yellow alert will be in place, with winds of 65-85 km/h, later increasing to 90-110 km/h. The yellow alert will remain in place from 8pm to midnight on Friday.
But good news is that after Friday, the wind is supposed to slow down and the sky is clearing up as well.
The morning is starting off at 5-8°C, hitting a peak of 12 °C in the afternoon, and dropping to 5-8 °C come evening.
