The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 559 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 24 hours.
2,702 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, yielding a positive rate of 20.73%.
Three new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, leaving the total death toll in the Grand Duchy at 982.
There are 53 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, up 5 from Wednesday' update, with 10 patients in intensive care, up by one.
There are 14,891 active infections in Luxembourg, while 160,863 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 0.60, down from 0.70.
The number of reinfections is 68, or 9,55% of positive cases.
According to the the last report, 477,590 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,257,354 doses have been administered in total. 424,909 people have received a second dose. 354,855 people have received an additional booster.
