The latest figures from Luxembourg show that 549 new cases of coronavirus were discovered over the last 24 hours.
2,351 tests were conducted over the last 24 hours, yielding a positive rate of 23.38%.
Three new deaths from Covid-19 were reported, bringing the total death toll in the Grand Duchy to 979.
There are 56 patients in standard hospital care with confirmed Covid-19 infections, up 5 from Monday's update, with 11 patients in intensive care, down by one.
There are 17,552 active infections in Luxembourg, while 156,877 people have recovered from the virus. The R rate is at 0.81, up from 0.51.
The number of reinfections is 58, or 8.22% of positive cases.
According to the the last report, 477,239 people have received their first vaccine dose in Luxembourg, while 1,255,313 doses have been administered in total. 424,323 people have received a second dose. 353,751 people have received an additional booster.
