The Luxembourg National Railway Company (CFL) has announced that the new building will remain in the same place as the old one, namely Place de la Gare in Luxembourg City.

The building is said to connect the new with the old. Parts of the historic building are to be preserved and integrated into the new project. According to the CFL, the project makes use of cutting-edge technology and is based on the idea of economic solidarity. The new headquarters will be able to accommodate up to 1,200 employees, the company explains.

Construction is scheduled to start in early 2023 and will last until the end of 2026.
