According to the Financial Times, ArcelorMittal's Ukrainian accounts have been frozen following a court decision.

A Ukrainian court ordered the accounts be frozen after ArcelorMittal's head of finance in the Ukraine, Serhiy Plichko, was accused of tax evasion to the tune of 80 million dollars.

In a company statement ArcelorMittal said the allegations were directed against an individual rather than the business.

In addition, they said the allegations were unfounded and represented "clear confirmation of the country's hostile policy towards foreign investors."
