More than a million CovidCheck certificates have been issued in Luxembourg since 10 June, according to a Ministry of Health statement issued on Thursday morning.
The certificates confirm whether the holder has been vaccinated, tested negative for Covid, or recently recovered from the virus.
Meanwhile, the CovidCheck app has received a new function, enabling users to check if their certificates are valid in other countries. Users will be able to select their chosen country from a list and scan the certificate to check if it fits that country's guidelines, rather than downloading individual apps for each destination.
This list will be extended as more countries publish their validation rules.

In addition, people aged 16 and over who have a personal space in MyGuichet.lu will automatically receive an electronic version of their certificates in the "My data" section. The certificates can also be accessed via the MyGuichet.lu mobile app as of 5 July.
