Luxembourg has witnessed a shift in Covid-19 mutations. Unlike in previous weeks, the delta variant is no longer the dominant variant, making up just about a quarter of all infections that were sequenced by the LNS.
Meanwhile, the Brazilian variant known as the Gamma variant has broken through and now makes up the vast majority of cases. In total, 637 samples were sequenced.
