This represents a 14% increase compared to the same time period last year.
Most of the affected businesses have existed for at least five years, with many of them active in the service sector.

Larger firms were also often forced to let employees go, including Socoma Constructions in Bridel, Solartec in Grevenmacher, and Bigor in Lenningen.
