At around 7.15pm on Friday evening, a break-in took place at a house on Rue des Aubépines in Luxembourg City. A glass door that had been left ajar gave the intruders their way in.
Just a few hours later, an attempt was made to break into the neighbouring house. Police searched the area straight away, though so far without success.
Between 6.50pm and 8.50pm, a break-in also took place at a flat on Rue Saint Willibrord in Bonnevoie. A window was lifted open to gain access to the ground-floor flat. A forensic team was dispatched to the scene.
