Police withdrew four driving licences during Friday night after motorists were found to be over the drink-driving limit and were stopped for erratic or dangerous driving.

Shortly before midnight, a driver travelling at excessive speed near Bour lost control and left the road. The individual suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital.

At around 1.30am, two other motorists stopped a vehicle that was weaving across the Nordstrooss. Police intervened and determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.

Shortly after 2am, two vehicles collided on the Esch motorway. Police found that one of the drivers was over the legal alcohol limit and subsequently revoked their driving licence.

At around 2.30am, a driver was spotted weaving across the road from Bous towards Remich. The driver failed an alcohol test and also had their licence withdrawn.
