Last week, the Chamber voted to extend the current sanitary measures until the mid of May.

No major changes to report when it comes to the restrictions: the curfew will remain in place between 11 pm. and 6 am in the morning, private gatherings are still limited to two people, the number of clients in shops stays regulated, and the consumption of alcohol in public places is prohibited.

However, a number of minor adaptations still have been undertaken. In sports, clubs may organise bigger training sessions, with up to 100 athletes allowed simultaneously if safety distances can be assured. Similarly, musicians may again practice in groups of ten.

The hospitality sector may continue welcoming guests on terraces, which have been more clearly defined as "outside spaces with free and natural air circulation and a minimum of three open surfaces". This means that verandas do not classify as terraces.

The measures and restrictions are set to stay in force until Saturday 15 May.
